It requires you simply to mop in the figure 8 configuration back and forth. It makes no difference if you go fro right to left or left to right just use  a stroke that sweeps the floor like the number 8.

You will find that this is easier on your back, it saves time and does a better job cleaning. If you are putting down floor finish it will set better and look better when dried.
