House cleaning tip: be organized

Let’s get real here… The organized house cleaning project saves time and creates a cleaner home.

The reality is cleaning has to be planned and not an afterthought. Any organized frequent light cleaning is far superior to periodic venture. Your house and appliances will be grateful to be cleaned regularly. It requires much less effort, chemicals, and abrasives to remove a light film of grime.

Dust, especially in a town like Tucson is important to keep under control with frequent. Built up dust is much more difficult to remove. Dust combined with oils or grease becomes a major project to clean. If you have ever seen built up mini blinds in a kitchen, then you know what I mean.

It is my opinion that it is easier to replace inexpensive mini blinds than to clean grime covered blinds. They do not take to being scrubbed well.

Your carpets will look better longer and last longer if they are vacuumed frequently. They also will need disruptive cleaning less often. And if you use A HEPA vacuum you should notice improved health as well. Your carpet can over time absorb into the fibers and backing 70 x it original weight in dust and dirt.

So now, is not too late to become organized is it?

Web sites for the house cleaning, cleaning services, and services industries

Our little house cleaning service, Your Fresh Start Cleaning Service, Has recently closed. We became so skilled at marketing our own website, www.yourfreshstart.us, that we closed that business to assist others in marketing their website.

We opened our new business, Tucson SEO Solutions, at www.tucsonseosolutions.com, to assist businesses in marketing their websites to increase search ranking and traffic. The problem was most websites were broken in one way or another. They either were poorly built and designed or lacked a basic sales presentation. The bottom line was they were not working.

With this in mind, we determined not to work on a broken website, for us it was an ethical issue. It was not fair to the client to increase website traffic only to see people be turned-off and leave. Our problem was that the business owners are not web designers.

So over the previous year we have put together a solid team of website developers and proof readers to complete our team. We also were sensitive to cost related issues. That is why we have chosen to use open source software to build our website.

This software reduces are cost to the point where we can offer premium services for the price of a generic website design. Our websites include:

•    Proof Reading – that makes sure everything is written well.
•    Website Marketing Training – How to market your website.
•    Software Training - How to use and update your website.
•    Designs that sell – We only use what is proven to work. Our designs are clean, straight forward, and not flashy. They also work.
•    Sales 101 – We teach to how to properly create content that sells
•    Search Engine Optimization – This is the magic that creates the high search rankings and traffic.

We noticed along the way that many competitors here in Tucson didn’t have a website. We also saw that their websites were not very effective at obtaining traffic or sales. So we determined to use our experience to benefit the cleaning and service industries.

Thanks… For more information please email tseos@tucsonseosolutions.com.

House cleaning tip for the laundry - debunked!

Saturday, April 19th, 2008

This one is for the strange but true category. My honey read somewhere that you could add an aspirin to the laundry to help in the cleaning process. Well, I tried it, and it just seems like another cleaning story. I can’t say that this actually worked.

Have any of you ever tried this? Maybe it’s our hard water here in Tucson, but the clothes didn’t look any cleaner.
